Overview:

The Marketing Associate role is a new role for our business and aims to build upon the successes of our operations and marketing team in the last few years. The role aims to provide a high quality service to our internal stakeholders and will be key in delivering the best customer experience to our candidates and clients.

The role will support our Group Director of Marketing & Operations, with a focus on our advertising and content plan. Training will be provided to support the successful candidate understand and use any supporting technology for the role.

Responsibilities:

The role has a diverse range of responsibilities, with duties including:

 

Advertising

The role will take responsibility for creating job adverts for our consultants to help with our candidate attraction efforts, this will include:

  • Converting job descriptions into optimised job adverts.

  • Ensuring our written content is accessible to and supports a diverse range of applicants.

  • Managing the allocation of job adverts in resources such as LinkedIn, Our Website and Job Boards.

  • Undertaking key word research and experimenting with new ideas to improve the response rates of our job adverts.

  • Maintaining a record of all advertising undertaken and assisting the production of reports covering advertising.

 Content Marketing

Working alongside the Group Director of Marketing & Operations, the Marketing Associate will play an important role in delivering the company’s content plan. This will include:

  •  Using tools such as Photoshop to help produce content for social media.

  • Utilising scheduling tools such as Hootsuite to help plan marketing content in advance.

  • Helping to write and create blogs to help promote the business.

  • Maintaining a record of all content activity for reporting purposes.

Project Work

The role will have an opportunity to work on and support a range of projects for the business. This may include areas such as:

  • Marketing automation.

  • Integration of our existing tech stack.

  • Undertaking initial research on an area of interest.

  • Supporting the creation of bids and tenders.

Business Administration

The role will integrate into the wider work of the operations team. The successful candidate will have responsibilities for:

  • Adding marketing data into company reports

  • Assisting in the production of the weekly marketing dashboard

  • Creating one off reports for internal stakeholders.

 Person Specification

This is an entry level role and will suit someone with a passion for writing, green energy, and marketing. You should share our values as a business, be professional, positive, able to take initiative and always be straight-talking. The business will provide training and support for the role and candidates should not worry if they do not have experience of example marketing technology mentioned in the job description. If you are enthusiastic and committed to self-development this role represents a great start to a further career in marketing.

 Salary & Benefits:

  • Full time, hours are 08.30 - 17.30 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 - 15.00 on Fridays.

  • Once the role has completed probation, it will be eligible for one day home working per week.
